With our wireless network gateway counters - we notice that EasyReports is not displaying any count figures for a couple of days?
This problem can occur when the SNG device cannot talk to sensor server software loaded onto the PC. When setting up the SNG - you had to specify a IP address of the PC hosting the sensor server software. Does the PC still have that same IP address? Sometimes, if there is a power outage or similar the PC may be get a new IP address. Is it possible for the graphing to show the sum of all sensors counting in one particular space?
You can manually create a new Position Code/Name and then select the room sensors to be linked to that Position.This is achieved in CentralManagement -> Location. EXCEL Spreadsheet to keep track of daily counts
Generally, with our LCD Screen people counters the count total is reset to '0' at the end of each day or the start of each morning by running a magnet along the top edge of the unit. For customers wishing to maintain a running total and record daily counts, you can download the 'AutoCountCalculator' EXCEL spreadsheet located on the right hand side. The USB MEM UPLOAD function from local PC (on the network) can be configured so that the count data is uploaded into SensorServer software installed on a networked server. It is possible to have the complete SensorServer software which includes the USB Mem upload application (or just the USB Mem Upload folder in the C:\Program Files (x86)\SensorServer\Apps folder) installed on a networked pc. The AC powered SNG acts as the signal receiver and the battery powered door sensor is the RF Transmitter. The sensors send signals only once per minute at max.
